It started in a desert unlike many
The sounds of the ocean without sound without any
The step takes a rhythm deafening unheard
I heard it always before never after always forever
Do I turn to face it?
Nothing everything something happened that day
It led me there, it led me here, it led me where it may
A smile returned from an emotionless face, a silent mouth
I was greeted without a sound only sand and mute seas
Do I say something back?
So many silent days, common talk all without words
Some of the best days I have ever had with shields and swords
No more then three feet tall in a six foot store alone silent
Silent conversations echo sounds of welcome in my head
Do I call the number on the screen?
Sounds rush sense explode for the first time after many times
Feelings shared slowly over a brief call worth hours of mine
I smile on the day from the desert in my head as I suddenly hear it
The sea of what changed my life was let in, I was swimming
Do I make the trip?
